addictions, trauma and mental health and skilled nurses provide
treatment under the direction of qualified psychiatrists.
Residential Treatment Services
Peak Behavioral Health Services provides a safe, therapeutic
environment for adolescent boys and girls, ages 12-17. Treatment is
individualized for each resident, and we encourage
parents/guardians to participate actively in their child’s
treatment. Each RTC unit has its own therapist, and residents are
seen regularly by licensed psychiatrists. To ensure resident safety
and to promote the practice of new skills, each unit is staffed by
licensed nurses and trained mental health technicians.
Treatment Components-The programs are based on cognitive-behavioral
therapy (CBT), which has proved to be highly effective in treating
mood, behavior, and anxiety disorders. In addition, the clinical
staff use behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and
family systems approaches to help individuals and families heal.
The Peak integrates individual therapy, group therapy, family
therapy, education/didactic group therapy, and therapeutic
activities to make use of every opportunity to help our residents
succeed. Residential treatment programs serve to remove adolescents
from the home settings, and place them in a structured, supervised,
therapeutic environment.
AFTERCARE: The Peak Behavioral Health Services will ensure that
aftercare is provided and that appointments are made prior to
discharge.
Mission Recovery Program
The
Mission Recovery Program is a 30 day treatment program for Active
Duty Military. Our philosophy is to provide high quality care and
treatment for adults that experience chemical dependency with a
variety of emotional, behavioral, and cognitive issues. Utilizing a
holistic approach to patient care, a safe and structured treatment
environment is created to maximize the opportunity for patients and
their families to explore the presence of illness in their lives.
The service member and family can then begin to learn and implement
effective means of managing the illness. Therapeutic modalities in
this program include individual therapy, family therapy, group
therapy, art therapy and physical training. All therapies are
provided in an atmosphere of respect for all patients, and taught
by licensed professionals.
