Peak Behavioral Hospital Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for New Outpatient Treatment Center in Las Cruces

EMDR

Peak Behavioral Hospital recently opened the newest outpatient treatment center in Las Cruces,  Peak Outpatient Treatment Center. At this new location, Peak offers a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for male and female adults needing mental health and/or substance use treatment.

“The Las Cruces community, and our referral sources, told us there was a great need for these outpatient behavioral health services,” says Sandra Emanuel, Chief Operating Officer for Peak Behavioral Hospital. “We really listened to them, took that information to heart, and are now providing the very services that they were in desperate need of, right here in their community.”

Outpatient mental health and substance abuse services provide an excellent treatment resource for continuing a patient’s treatment after being discharged from the hospital.  Peak Outpatient Center offers two treatment programs based on the needs of the patient. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) works well for those patients who want to continue working or going to school while continuing their outpatient treatment.  Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) patients need additional support to ease back into the community after an inpatient stay.

To celebrate the opening of the new outpatient treatment center, Peak Behavioral Hospital will be hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, April 3 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., 609 East Amador Avenue, Las Cruces, NM 88001. Refreshments will be served, and tours of the center will be given by Peak representatives.  Please RSVP to Veronica Monarez at veronica.monarez@strategicbh.com by Monday, April 1.
